Ingredients
- 1 package (3.4 ounces / 102 grams) vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold milk
- 2 cups (480 ml) whipped topping, thawed
- 4 medium Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped
- 6 Snickers candy bars (about 300 grams total), chopped
- 3 tablespoons caramel sauce (optional)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla instant pudding mix and cold milk for 1–2 minutes until smooth and slightly thickened.
- Add the whipped topping and gently fold it into the pudding mixture until light and fluffy.
- Wash, core, and chop the apples into bite-sized pieces. Chop the Snickers bars into small chunks.
- Add the chopped apples and most of the candy pieces to the bowl. Fold gently until everything is evenly coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a serving dish. Top with the remaining Snickers pieces and drizzle with caramel sauce if desired.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for about 30 minutes for a firmer texture.
Notes
- Toss apples with a little lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Best served fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
- Stir gently before serving leftovers as moisture may collect.
- Swap pudding flavor to butterscotch or French vanilla for variation.
- Add mini marshmallows for extra fluffiness.
- Reduce candy and add more apples for a less sweet version.
- Chopped peanuts or almonds can be added for extra crunch.
- Do not freeze, as it affects texture.
