These Big Mac Sliders are mini cheeseburger sandwiches layered with seasoned ground beef, melty American cheese, crisp lettuce, pickles, onions, and creamy burger-style sauce on soft Hawaiian rolls with buttery sesame tops. Perfect for parties, game days, or easy family dinners.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 12 sliders

Ingredients

  • For the sliders:
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup finely diced white onion
  • 1 package (12-count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 6 slices American cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/3 cup pickle chips
  • For the sauce:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons French dressing
  • 2 teaspoons yellow mustard
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • For the topping:
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and diced onion until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, French dressing, mustard, relish, vinegar, sugar, onion powder, paprika, garlic powder, and salt until smooth.
  4. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them and place the bottom half into a baking dish.
  5. Spread a thin layer of sauce over the bottom rolls.
  6. Add the cooked beef evenly over the rolls and top with American cheese slices.
  7. Place the top half of the rolls over the cheese.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the tops are lightly golden.
  10. Remove from the oven and carefully lift the tops. Add shredded lettuce and pickle chips, then drizzle with additional sauce.
  11. Replace the tops, slice into sliders, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Add lettuce and pickles after baking to keep them crisp.
  • Drain the beef well to prevent soggy sliders.
  • American cheese gives the most classic fast-food burger flavor.
  • Ground turkey or chicken can be used as lighter alternatives.
  • Extra sauce can be served on the side for dipping.
  • Soft pull-apart rolls work best for easy slicing and serving.
  • Store leftover sliders refrigerated for up to 3 days.
