Instructions
- In a skillet, melt butter and cook diced apples with sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice for 8–10 minutes until soft. Let cool.
- In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a soft dough.
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking tray.
- Flatten a portion of dough, add apple filling and caramel sauce to center.
- Seal dough around filling and roll into a ball.
- Place on baking tray and repeat with remaining dough.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and serve warm.
